Peer Learning in Maputo - Hygiene, Health and Markets

Peer learning was organized in Maputo, Mozambique, in October 2012, with the city of Maputo, and, the cities of South Africa and Brazil, together with UCLG, Cities Alliances, and ILO with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The objectives of this peer learning were a) to identify areas for the cooperation between the city of Maputo and its partners on decent work and local economic development in the context of formal and informal markets, b) draw lessons from the national and international experiences in capacity building, c) to define the strategic support needed by the cities to develop a project on South-South cooperation, and d) develop new learning opportunities.
